The College has formed Students Grievance Redressal Cell with the objective of addressing students grievances while their journey at the College. The Cell aims to sensitize students about the right academic environment that enhances their overall development, and if any deficiencies arise in this development process, they should be able to reach out to the concerned authorities through this Cell.

The concerns and issues that can be initiated may be in the areas of admission, scholarships, quality of education, harassment, etc.

The Cell ensures that all issues are resolved promptly and efficiently through collaboration between the Department Heads, Faculty, Students and Administration.

The Students Grievance Redressal Cell ensures a fair, safe, and supportive environment by addressing student concerns promptly and transparently. By following UGC regulations and University of Mumbai guidelines, the Cell works for the improvement and betterment of the College and the overall academic experience of the students.

  1. The Cell deals with grievances received in writing or by email from students.
  2. The grievances are attended to promptly on receipt from students within seven to 15 working days.
  3. The Cell reviews all cases and acts as per the circular of UGC (Redressal of Grievances of Students) Regulations, 2023.
  4. The Cell provides a redressal report to the authority about the cases attended to and the number of pending cases, if any, which require direction and guidance from the higher authorities.
  5. An Annual report of Students Grievance Redressal Cell as per the format of University of Mumbai is submitted to Department of Student’s Development, University of Mumbai. 
  1. At the beginning of the academic year during the induction program, an orientation about Students Grievance Redressal Cell is given to the students.
  2. Suggestion boxes has been placed in the College premises at appropriate locations for access to an easy complain procedure.
  3. Every Saturday the suggestion boxes are opened and email-id i.e. studentsconcernpatuck.edu.in is checked if any grievance is placed.
  4. The Cell members’ co-ordinates about the grievances received, if any and takes up the matter with the concerned stakeholders to address the grievances.
  5. Addressing of grievance(s) within a minimum of seven days is practiced and follow-ups for unresolved cases are undertaken.
  6. Entries of grievance(s) or no grievance received are mentioned in the Students Grievance Redressal Cell register with details and signing of Cell members and others, wherever applicable.
  7. Notice of resolved grievance(s) is displayed on the notice board beside the Suggestion box and the Cell announces classroom-related matters in the respective classrooms.
  8. An Annual report of Students Grievance Redressal Cell as per the format of University of Mumbai is submitted to Department of Student’s Development, University of Mumbai.
