The Department of Lifelong Learning and Extension [DLLE] is recognized as a statutory Department of the University of Mumbai, and its major objective is to promote a meaningful and sustained rapport between the Universities and the community.  Keeping the UGC focal points in mind, in continuing education too the Department has established programs for students that will help them engage with the community to become responsible and engaging citizens of the community.  Programs like the SWS (Status of Women in Society) help understand  the challenges faced by women and induces a thought process to provide for solutions to the challenges.  Programs like the Career Project help students research about the career they intend to pursue and also disseminate that information to other needy students.  The Annapoorna Yojana program helps students to build in them entrepreneurial skills.

The Teachers at Patuck College, who guide the students in this form of education are

Every year a minimum of 80% of the students who enrol for the program successfully complete it and are awarded their due credits by the University department.
