Facilities For Differently Abled At The Campus

Hensel The College provides the necessary facilities to differently abled students or individuals to give them equal opportunity for quality education and also to include them as a part of the society. The Patuck Family believes that differently abled individuals should be treated with respect and as a normal human being.

There are various facilities provided for their easy access and comfort: namely,

Scribes for Examination

Ramp & Rails

The College has provided a ramp facility for the easy movement of a wheelchair. Hand rails are also placed along with ramp for smooth and easy movement of the individual.

Provision of Lift Facility

Near the entrance of the gate there is a provision of lift which is easily accessible and the security is always present to assist to the accessibility of lift. The embossed buttons of the lift will enable the individual to move on his/her desired floor.

Wheelchair

The College also has a provision of awheelchair facility to the individual for easy movements on the floor. Wheelchair also has washroom facility in case of urgency.

Assistive Technology on Website

College has made provision of assistive technology on website through accessibility menu. The accessibility menu is dyslexia friendly and visually handicapped friendly.

Screen Reading facility is also installed for our website which renders text and image contents as speech. This assistive technology is useful for people who are visually impaired and have a learning disability.

Scribes for Examination

Scribes are permitted for the students who find difficult to write in examinations. The students who have learning disability are also permitted for scribe. The College provides permission for the scribe to write exams as per the University guidelines.
