Objectives

  • To enable students to overcome any difficulties related to their family, friends and loved ones
  • To help students cope with exam anxiety and focus on studies
  • To make students aware on actions that can be taken if indulged in exam malpractices; and encourage them to refrain from such deeds
  • To bring meaning and purpose in students’ lives by helping them find solutions to their problems

Functions

  • Orienting students about Career and Guidance Cell and its activities so that students can approach the counsellor whenever the need arises
  • Organizing seminars and workshops for students and teachers to develop and enhance life skills
  • Co-ordinating with Unfair Means Committee for counselling students who have resorted to exam malpractices
  • Conducting activities that promotes social values and enables students to be a responsible citizen of the country.

Myth/Reality

College has made provision of assistive technology on website through accessibility menu. The accessibility menu is dyslexia friendly and visually handicapped friendly.

Screen Reading facility is also installed for our website which renders text and image contents as speech. This assistive technology is useful for people who are visually impaired and have a learning disability.
